Sam joined the Virginia Tech wrestling and SERTC in the summer of ‘19. Latona established himself as a prominent freestyle wrestler, particularly during his high school and collegiate career:

• 6th Place at 2020 US Senior Nationals

• Two-time NCAA All-American

• 2017 Fargo Junior National Champ (1st Wrestler in Alabama state history)
